All the Shapes of Dog Tags With all the technology available nowadays, dog tags aren't just plain, silvery metal tags anymore. There are now all different shapes and sizes to choose from. The following will list a few designs/ shapes that are commonly seen. First of all, there are still, of course, the regular dog tags in their original design of a rectangular with half circle ends. These are still common and many people still prefer to keep their dog tags simple with this simple design. These dog tags can each have different "messages" or information on them and can be used for real identification purposes such as actual pet tags or luggage tags as well as for personal fun such as personalized gifts and messages. If you do your searching, you will find that there is an even broader spectrum of shapes and sizes to choose from. In some cases, if you're ordering a very large bulk, you'll even be able to probably ask dog tag vendors if you can design your own shape for them to manufacture for you!
